SUE Technician

Job Summary
Operate EM and GPR equipment to locate underground utilities for internal and external clients while supporting vacuum excavation activities. Collaborate with the SUE Party Chief and Project Managers to meet project goals, accurately collecting and documenting field data that ensures quality and compliance with company and client standards. Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and uphold safety standards during outdoor work in residential neighborhoods and roadways, standing or walking for long periods and lifting equipment up to 25 pounds. This role requires 1+ years of experience in utility locating, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town projects.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience locating underground utilities using SUE equipment (EM and GPR)
- Working knowledge of vacuum excavation methods
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General understanding of utility infrastructure systems
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town projects
