Job Summary
Operate vacuum excavation equipment and record field data for utility systems while learning hand-held technology for interpreting utility locations. Obtain a CDL License through paid training to safely operate large industrial vehicles up to 26,000lbs GVW and secure a DOT Medical card for commercial motor vehicle operation. Perform on-the-job training to master necessary skills for success in this entry-level field role. No prior utility systems experience required.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in field work involving utility systems
- The willingness and ability to learn how to operate vacuum excavation equipment and record field gathered data
- The aptitude to learn various hand-held technology for the interpretation of utility locations
- Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL License through formal paid training for certification to operate safely and efficiently the large industrial vehicles up to 26,000lbs GVW
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation
- Highschool Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to maintain required certifications
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check
