Job Summary
Join McKim & Creed as a SUE Technician I (Utility Locator) where you will operate SUE field equipment, ensure safety near utility facilities, and assist with maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work outdoors in various terrains. Experience is welcomed, and the company is willing to provide training. Key preferred skills include problem-solving and self-motivation.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED or equivalent preferred
- Ability to walk outdoors for long periods through various terrains
- Able to lift 50 pounds, carry, and operate equipment
- Available to travel daily; overnight travel may be required
- Work unsupervised when required
- Background & motor vehicle checks, and pre-employment drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Industry-related or vo-tech school training
- Survey experience
- Current Commercial Driver’s License
