Job Summary
SUE Technician for ESP Associates in South Carolina. Responsible for designating utilities and conducting records research in support of civil engineering, surveying, planning, and related projects. Requires 1-3 years of field experience in utility designating and working knowledge of Ground Penetrating Radar, electromagnetic locating equipment, and vacuum excavation (plus). Duties include preparing/organizing field sketches and digital photographs, completing daily checklists and timesheets, and vehicle navigation. The role involves some travel out of town and adherence to drug screening, background checks, and driving-record requirements. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience designating utilities and performing records research
- 1-3 years field experience in utility designating
- Working knowledge of Ground Penetrating Radar, Electromagnetic pipe & cable locating equipment, and vacuum excavation a plus
- Experience with DOT, municipal, and/or public utility projects a plus
- Pass drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy
