SUE Technician 2

Conduct on-site investigations to identify, designate, and map underground utilities using electromagnetic locators, ground-penetrating radar, and other geophysical tools. Perform field investigations to identify and classify underground utilities per ASCE 38-22 standards while operating and maintaining subsurface utility locating equipment and GPS data collection devices. Assist with vacuum excavation (potholing) to expose utilities when necessary and provide real-time field documentation, sketches, and reports for utility data findings. Communicate with project managers, surveyors, engineers, and utility owners regarding utility conflicts and findings, and provide mentorship and professional development to junior field employees. Ensure field safety compliance, following OSHA and company safety protocols. Valid driver's license and ability to travel required; starting pay $25 per hour.
