Job Summary

Conduct substance use assessments and collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide supportive counseling, case management, and facilitate behavioral health groups focused on recovery barriers, skill-building, and harm reduction. Assess clients for safety risks and implement crisis interventions when indicated. Deliver progress reports and completion notices to courts, probation departments, and referral sources. Complete all documentation in a respectful, client-centered manner. Maintain current knowledge of trends in the substance use field while establishing rapid rapport and sustaining a positive attitude during challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or certificate in addictions or chemical dependency studies
  • Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) certification in Washington
  • Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
  • Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
  • In compliance with state and federal law, Comprehensive Healthcare requires all candidates to complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check
