Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify substance use issues and co-occurring mental health conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals. Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery and coping strategies. Provide psychoeducation regarding substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and relapse prevention techniques. Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness. Collaborate with case managers, healthcare providers, and community resources to coordinate care for clients. Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes following agency and regulatory guidelines. Participate in ongoing training and education to remain informed of best practices in the field of addiction treatment. Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards, including HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice in the state you are providing services in
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required with appropriate licensure
- NPI and Medicaid Provider Number required to start work
Desired Qualifications
- An associates, bachelors, or master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications related to substance use treatment (e.g., Certified Addiction Specialist) preferred
- Experience in substance use treatment and knowledge of evidence-based practices for addiction recovery is preferred
- NPI and Medicaid Provider Number preferred
