Women's Residential Program Manager

Job Summary

Conduct supervision and oversight of treatment and case management services, including review of ASAM-based assessments, treatment plans, and continuing stay justifications. Manage client charts, progress notes, and discharge planning while ensuring compliance with evidence-based practices and Drug Medi-Cal regulations. Facilitate group sessions, train staff on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and standardize systems of care through data collection and narrative reporting. Represent the agency at stakeholder meetings and presentations. Full-time role in San Rafael, CA, with relocation required prior to start.

Required Qualifications

  • A Substance Abuse Counseling Certification from a State of California Accredited Certifying Board is required unless you possess a professional license (e.g. LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
  • Must be knowledgeable about the Department of Health Care Services and Drug Medi-Cal regulations, standards, and guidelines, including the rules and regulations affecting the clients served
  • Previous experience in staff supervision, quality assurance activities, providing clinical direction, and designing therapeutic interventions
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience conducting Utilization Review of program services
  • Familiarity with Electronic Healthcare Systems, i.e. SmartCare
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire and influence others
  • Experience with data collection, statistical analysis, and narrative report writing
  • Experience facilitating, training, and oversight of evidence-based treatment models
  • Experience training and supervising cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other substance use disorder counseling methods, motivational interviewing, stages of change theory, and behavioral interventions
  • Experience working with Criminal Justice, homeless, and at-risk populations
