Job Summary
SUD Group Facilitator providing remote telehealth group sessions for adolescent and young adult clients. Responsibilities include onboarding within 2 weeks, monthly supervision check-ins, timely communication, reviewing curriculum before group, arriving early to facilitate hour-long groups, applying Charlie Health best practices, fostering client engagement and a camera-on culture, collaborating with Treatment Team and care staff, ensuring timely documentation within 24 hours, and upholding professional ethics and confidentiality. Requires Masters-level mental health credentialing and experience in SUD treatment with a strong behavioral health modality toolkit (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI), comfort with telehealth platforms, and availability late afternoons/evenings and Saturdays; includes 1099 contract role and visibility into credentialing and state background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mental health or related field
- Experience facilitating groups for adolescent and young adult clients in telehealth/remote settings
- Familiarity with a variety of modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI)
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment; understanding of abstinence and harm reduction models
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
