SUD Counselor (Bilingual) - True Life Recovery Program

Respond to service requests from schools and community partners, verifying client eligibility and conducting screenings and intakes. Provide education, individual services, and process groups using evidence-based curricula while facilitating family engagement, case management, and tobacco cessation education. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to plan monthly activities and develop individualized problem lists for youth. Complete progress notes per county guidelines and enter data into the SmartCare electronic health record system. Conduct outreach and presentations to students, parents, and staff at various sites. Utilize a trauma-informed, culturally respectful approach while working independently across school and community locations. Requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement.
