Job Summary
Provide CBT and SUD counseling to clients referred by probation and court systems, delivering group and individual therapy, completing assessments, developing comprehensive service plans, and generating progress reports. Maintain confidential client files, coordinate with outside agencies, and provide education on restorative justice, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, and stages of change. Ensure documentation, compliance with laws, and participate in staff training; may supervise other staff in the future. Must hold applicable clinical licensure or CADC certification and meet continuing education requirements; two years of experience with offender populations and strong organizational and interpersonal skills; bilingual preferred and Chicago office-based.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications/Licenses: Clinical Certification as CADC or licensed professional counselor or licensed clinical social worker; supervision requirement; 40 hours CE biennially if CADC; training on modalities within 30-60 days; background checks; CPR/First aid/TB; ability to pass pre-employment drug screen; non-supervisory until licensure achieved; bilingual preferred
