Succession Planning Process Manager

Job Summary
Own the end-to-end process for internal acquisitions including National Retirement Plan, Practice Buy Outs and Management Buy Outs for Advisers and AR Firms within Quilter Financial Planning Network. Support pre-acquisition activities, prepare valuations and offer letters, coordinate across stakeholders through the transaction lifecycle, develop and oversee Succession Planning initiatives, review processes and marketing materials for alignment with internal standards, analyse revenue data to support business valuations, and prepare information for executive meetings. Role involves preparation of business cases, management information packs, ensuring adherence to Risk and Control Framework, and collaboration with external specialists to enhance succession and acquisition processes. Requires strong stakeholder engagement, ability to manage multiple priorities under regulatory requirements, and experience in regulated distribution environments; FCA Good Customer Outcomes understanding and ability to validate is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in a regulated distribution-based environment (preferred)
- An excellent understanding of how Appointed Representative Firms operate and create value to their business
- Confident in working under pressure and managing conflicting priorities
- Comfortable communicating and presenting to different stakeholders including AR firms, other internal departments & executive team members
- Commercial knowledge of how AR contracts and advice networks work (advantageous)
- Understanding FCA principles around Good Customer Outcomes and how these can be validated
- Experience of building and managing good working relationships
- Experience of managing processes & risk
