Job Summary
Coordinate business succession plans for financial advisors and branch owners by drafting, reviewing, and processing catastrophic and long-term succession agreements. Serve as a central liaison to resolve routine inquiries, manage incoming correspondence, and oversee operational commitments for managers and advisors. Act as a closing specialist to set up split FA numbers, move accounts, and ensure documentation completeness within CRM and Salesforce systems. Schedule webinars, meetings, and travel arrangements while maintaining data management systems and analyzing financial reports. Handle stressful situations with a professional demeanor to facilitate positive relationships between field teams and home office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from college or university
- 3 to 6 years securities industry experience
- Knowledge of Succession planning, mergers, and acquisition best practices and structures
- Basic back office systems
- Concepts, practices, procedures, regulations, and rules of the securities industry
- General business best practices, processes and procedures
- Financial service practice management, best practices, processes and tenets
- Skill in Organizational and time management sufficient to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Using software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases
- Timely and effectively communicating with internal and external parties
- Effective questioning and listening techniques/skills
- Detail orientation to ensure: timely communication and correspondence, the accuracy of agreements and reports, and databases
- Ability to Organize, prioritize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Effectively communicate between support areas within the firm
- Independently manage and complete multiple projects/tasks on a timely basis
- Make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments
- Analyze and solve problems by thinking critically about facts, circumstances, and resources
- Maintain currency in investment advisor and/or financial planner services and products
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels
- Handle stressful situations and provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner
- Use mathematics sufficiently to analyze numerical data, ratios among percentages and rates of change in trend analysis
