Job Summary
Greet guests, prepare sandwiches according to formula, and operate the Point of Sale system to record orders and process payments. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards while maintaining a clean restaurant environment and restocking the sandwich unit. Perform cash-in procedures, handle light paperwork, and complete University of SUBWAY courses as directed. Requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday with the ability to lift 15 pounds frequently and 30 pounds occasionally. This role offers growth opportunities for individuals demonstrating business aptitude and a desire to learn.
Required Qualifications
- Some high school or equivalent
- Proven ability to understand written and verbal instruction
- Ability to work any area of the restaurant when needed
- Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
- Ability to lift 15 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk the entire workday
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to understand and adhere to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual
