Job Summary
Lead and supervise food service staff at NCCU location; develop schedules, oversee production, ensure food safety and quality per Aramark policies; manage inventory, training, and mentorship; handle occasional cashier duties; support catering events; requires sanitation training and ability to obtain food safety certification within 6 months; flexible weekends and open availability; shift coverage includes afternoons to late evenings (1pm-10pm) with occasional night catering events.
Required Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have the ability to obtain a food safety certifiation within 6 months of hire, if one is not currently valid
