Job Summary
Lead Integrated Product Teams in analyzing product development, producibility studies, and production/tooling philosophies. Conceptualize and oversee program architecture for build, developing manufacturing plans for high-level program requirements. Architect investments in tooling, automation, and capital equipment while establishing standardized processes and controls across production lines. Drive continuous improvement activities using root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Six Sigma methodologies. Integrate manufacturing considerations early into product decisions and mentor engineering teams to review and approve deliverables. Use data analytics and simulation to validate processes and support capacity planning. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver on schedule and budget. Requires 5-9 years of experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain Secret/SAP clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement (Level 3)
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Progressive manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense or other complex, high-reliability manufacturing environments
- Travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim/Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met
Desired Qualifications
- 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and model-based enterprise practices (MBD/MBE)
- Experience with Final Assembly and Ramp operations
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and reviewing/approving engineering work products
