Job Summary
Setup and form catalyst substrates on fabrication machines while operating, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on substrate equipment. Prepare raw materials for welders, load and operate oxidation furnaces, and measure products to comply with QC specifications. Accurately record quality control data, perform inventory counts, and transport materials using proper PPE. Interpret work orders and lead the department during supervisor absence. Complete assigned R&D projects and equipment upgrades. Requires 1+ years in metal fabrication, forklift certification preferred, and ability to lift 60 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years experience in a metal fabrication environment with metal working experience
- Working knowledge of running industrial equipment
- Experience with CNC machinery
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates with PLC programming experience will receive greater consideration for the position
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
