Job Summary
Attend the mandatory Substitute Workshop via email invitation and present original identification, Social Security card, college transcripts, and teaching license (if applicable) for certification. Complete daily substitute teaching, office administrative assistance, or paraprofessional duties at Fort Smith Schools. Earn a daily rate of $100 for certified teachers, $95 for those with 30+ college hours, $90 for OAA/secretary roles, or $80 for paraprofessionals. Full-day shifts are required. Apply through the district's TalentEd portal if selected.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to attend mandatory Substitute Workshop - by email invitation only
- Bring Social Security Card (original and signed)
- Bring Driver's License (original)
- Bring College Transcript (if not already uploaded to application file)
- Bring Teaching License (if licensed teacher and not already uploaded to application file)
- Bring Birth Certificate (a photocopy is sufficient) or Passport (must be current)
- Hold a current Arkansas standard teaching license
- Have 30+ college hours
