Job Summary
Follow the regular teacher's lesson plans, assign classwork and homework, and evaluate student progress while maintaining positive classroom behavior. Communicate effectively with faculty, comply with school policies, and supervise students in hallways and the cafeteria. Complete the interview process and background check. Available to accept positions day-of or with advance scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Classroom experience
- Able to perform light physical work such as walking students to different location in the school and standing for extended periods of time
- Available to accept a substitute position the day one is needed and/or accept jobs if scheduled ahead of time
- Complete interview process as well as background check
Desired Qualifications
- College degree preferred, preferably in education, child-centered, or related field
