Job Summary
Instruct and motivate students in all course study while assigning lessons, correcting homework, and maintaining classroom discipline. Create a safe, attractive, and stimulating learning center by setting a positive housekeeping example and utilizing varied teaching methods to enhance student experiences. Build student self-esteem through consistent care, praise, and encouragement, while communicating effectively with parents, administrative staff, and campus directors. Transition smoothly with changes and manage multiple priorities using strong organizational and time management skills. Requires a passion for children, patience, and computer literacy to implement curriculum software. Short-term and long-term substitute roles available at $90–$120 per day.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University
- Teacher's Certification
- Basic knowledge of federal and state education laws
- Computer literate
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to learn and implement teaching curriculum software programs and instruct students on utilization
- The ability to communicate with all levels of students, parents, administrative staff, and Campus Directors
- The ability to transition with changes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Travel as necessary
