Job Summary
Assist with classroom activities and instruction as directed while supporting students individually or in small groups. Help manage classroom behavior and routines, and supervise students across various settings including the classroom, specials, lunchroom, and playground. Provide general support to the teacher and maintain a productive, safe learning environment during the assistant's absence. Works under the direction of the classroom teacher or other assigned staff. High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with children preferred.

- Must meet the Chautauqua County Civil Service requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively
- Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills
