Job Summary
Substitute Teacher across Hardy County Schools. Requires West Virginia Professional Certificate or Substitute Teaching Permit and completion of all required county and WV Department of Education trainings. Duties include classroom coverage with adherence to district policies and available job description responsibilities; successful candidates must undergo a background check, provide two letters of reference, transcripts, and a copy of certification, and may be subject to references and evaluations. Start date for the 2026-2027 school year; salary commensurate with experience and education. In-person employment with countywide duties in Hardy County, WV.
Required Qualifications
- West Virginia Professional Certificate or West Virginia Substitute Teaching Permit
- Complete all required county and West Virginia Department of Education trainings
- Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
