Job Summary
Collaborate with the Head Teacher and Family Advocate to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children, support daily classroom operations, ensure child safety and organized learning environments, assist in developing activities across developmental domains, participate in developmental screenings, engage families, and participate in occasional home visits and parent/teacher conferences as directed. Requires ability to lift 40 pounds, background check, drug test, and physical; background in early childhood education preferred and CDA program completion within two years accepted. QA-focused role within a highly-rated Head Start center in Van Wert, OH with opportunities for professional development and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent; or enrolled in a CDA program and complete CDA within two years of start date. Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
