Job Summary
Provide personalized learning in UCSD classrooms as a Substitute Teacher, delivering instruction aligned with district benchmarks using effective instructional strategies, classroom management, and a range of methods to address diverse learning needs. Maintain reliable attendance, demonstrate content knowledge appropriate for substitute teaching, and support students to achieve academic performance. Must hold BOEE licensure or approved alternative and a Bachelor's degree, with experience teaching preferred. Working in Urbandale in an office/school setting, compensation starts at $165/day (increases to $185/day after 50 days) with potential retroactive pay adjustments; role requires ability to travel between sites as needed and adherence to district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Earned Bachelor’s Degree or Board of Educational Examiners approved alternative
