Job Summary
Caring for infants and toddlers aged 3 months to 5 years by creating a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to exploration and creativity. Deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum grounded in the Reggio-Emilia Approach, balancing child-initiated and teacher-led activities to support physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional growth. Conduct comprehensive observations of each child to document developmental progress and guide lesson planning aligned with California Foundations for Early Learning and NAEYC standards. Foster positive relationships with families through daily updates via Brightwheel, facilitate annual conferences, and assist with diapering, toilet learning, and hygiene practices. Maintain consistent routines to encourage independence while monitoring child health and well-being. Participate in team meetings, provide training to aides and volunteers, and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 12 college-level units in Early Childhood Education, this includes the core course required by licensing

Desired Qualifications
