Job Summary
Substitute Teacher position in Charlotte, NC, through Sub Teacher Source staffing agency. On-call and/or part-time assignments with flexible scheduling, most postings the evening before or morning of the school day. Responsibilities include providing classroom coverage when teachers are absent, following lesson plans, maintaining a safe and productive environment, adapting to different grade levels and school settings, and following district/school policies. Benefits include weekly pay, exposure to multiple schools and grade levels, and opportunities for additional assignments throughout the week. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED (30 college credits required), with Associate's or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, be 21+, and possess strong communication and classroom management skills; prior substitute experience is a plus and experience working with youth is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of 30 college credit hours
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Prior teaching or substitute experience is a plus
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Prior experience professionally working with the youth REQUIRED
- Dependent, flexible, and punctual.
