Job Summary
Deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, adapt to different classroom environments and grade levels, maintain a positive and productive atmosphere, manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment, communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed, and follow school district policies and procedures. Requires strong communication and classroom management skills, adaptability to diverse educational settings, and a passion for education.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 30 or more college credit hours with a 2.0 GPA or higher
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must provide three professional references
- Must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
- Must have proof of a completed background check for the State Department of Education
- Must have a current Substitute License or Authorization, if available in your state
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different educational settings and grade levels
- Passion for education and making a positive impact on students' lives
