Job Summary
Daily Substitute Teacher needed to provide classroom coverage in Oakland, CA and Richmond, CA (various school districts) when regular teachers are absent. Responsibilities include following pre- provided lesson plans, maintaining a safe, positive, and productive classroom environment, adapting quickly to different grade levels and settings, and adhering to district/school policies. Must be prepared to work on-call/part-time schedule with opportunities across multiple districts. Required qualifications include age 21+, Bachelor's Degree, TB test or risk assessment, and a 30-day substitute permit/credential. Prior substitute/teaching experience is desirable; strong communication and classroom-management skills are essential. The role offers weekly direct-deposit pay and flexible scheduling. Teaching support and professional development are provided.
