Job Summary
Substitute Teacher for K-12 at Sequoia Pathfinder Academy Verrado, on-site in Buckeye, AZ. Responsibilities include developing and delivering engaging, standards-based lesson plans; creating a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment; assessing student progress and tailoring instruction to meet diverse needs; communicating regularly with parents/guardians; collaborating with colleagues to enhance curriculum and school culture; participating in school events and activities; and completing additional duties with the team to deliver an exceptional student experience. Requires a Bachelor's degree in education or related field, teacher certification preferred, experience teaching elementary grades, strong classroom-management and communication skills, and the ability to obtain an IVP fingerprint clearance card by hire. On-site role with no remote work.
