Job Summary
Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions by following lesson plans left by the returning teacher, and communicate clearly with school staff. Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher after each assignment. You will work as a non-exempt W-2 employee with daily pay varying by certification, school, and placement length. A dedicated consultant provides 1:1 check-ins for feedback, training, and career planning. Background checks are required, and reimbursement is available for state and federal costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
- Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
- State & federal background checks
- Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
