Job Summary
Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions by following lesson plans left by the returning teacher. Communicate clearly with school staff and leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher. Earn daily pay that varies by certification, school, and assignment, with weekly checkchecks via direct deposit. You must hold a teaching credential, certificate, or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, along with a bachelor's or associate's degree and state and federal background checks. Your dedicated consultant matches you to assignments and provides 1:1 check-ins for feedback and career planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
- Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
- State & federal background checks
- Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
- Have previous experience in special education settings
- Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience
