Job Summary
Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions by following any lesson plans left by the teacher, and communicate clearly with school staff. Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher to ensure continuity. Earn daily pay based on certification, school, and assignment length, with paid training hours and professional development opportunities available. Work as a W-2 employee with weekly direct deposit and eligibility for 401k enrollment after meeting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
- Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
- State & federal background checks
- Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
