Substitute Teacher

Assist teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities while maintaining classroom ratios during breaks and planning periods. Actively participate in instruction, enforce safety and emergency procedures, and complete incident reports as needed. Adhere to guidelines for verbal interaction, age-appropriate redirection, and behavioral management while documenting attendance and progress reports. Build authentic relationships with members, identify potential volunteers, and attend all staff meetings and in-service training. Maintain a safe, positive atmosphere that welcomes all individuals in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
