Job Summary
Provide temporary instructional support in the absence of the regular teacher across all grades and buildings; maintain classroom order; implement lesson plans and activities as provided; supervise students; foster a positive learning environment; adapt quickly to different grade levels and subject areas; contribute to continuity of the educational program; must obtain fingerprint clearance from the NYS Education Department; compensation varies by qualification (Uncertified substitute $150/day; NYS Certified substitute $180/day).
