Job Summary
Corsicana ISD maintains an open substitute pool for the 2026-2027 school year. Substitutes must meet credential requirements (high school diploma or 48+ college credit hours), be fingerprinted at their expense, and be reachable via AESOP. Applications are reviewed by the Substitute Coordinator and kept on file for one year. Training is required for new substitutes. Salary is daily and varies by assignment (regular/paraprofessional, bachelor’s degree, long-term, and certified teacher levels).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma; or 48 hours or more college credit hours
- Must be fingerprinted as required by state law
- Must have a phone or computer to be reachable by AESOP automated calling system
- Provide full Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and Driver's License Number
- District-provided substitute training for new substitutes
