Substitute Teacher

Provide scheduled instruction in the regular classroom teacher's absence, using existing lesson plans, and tailor activities to address diverse learning needs. Maintain classroom environment, promote student engagement, follow district policies, and utilize technology to enhance instruction. Responsibilities include supervising students, keeping records, delivering small-group and individualized instruction, and potentially participating in long-term assignments such as administering tests and attending parent-teacher conferences. The role requires a valid Missouri substitute certificate or active DESE teacher certification; traditional certification is preferred but not required. Strong communication, confidentiality, and adherence to schedules are essential.
