Job Summary
Report in person to the school building to execute lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and create a classroom environment that is safe, orderly, and conducive to learning. Maintain established school procedures and hold students accountable to a high standard of conduct while ensuring continuity of appropriate learning during educator absences. This on-call, part-time role requires adaptability to changing operational needs and a commitment to the school's classical education mission. Candidates must possess experience working with children and a conviction for the values of a classical, liberal arts education.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with children
- Ability to work on-call or as needed
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with and conviction for the values of a classical, liberal arts education
- Ability to adhere to the school's dress code as outlined in the employee handbook
