Job Summary
Supervise and support students in classrooms, playgrounds, or cafeterias while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Manage daily routines, behavior, and transitions by following lesson plans left by the returning teacher, and communicate clearly with school staff to leave brief notes or feedback. Observe and communicate across varied indoor and outdoor settings, ensuring you are able to sit, stand, walk, and safely assist students by lifting up to 30 lbs. Work as a W-2 employee with daily pay ranging up to $215, subject to assignment length and certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
- Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
- State & federal background checks
- Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
- Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
