Job Summary
Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions by following any lesson plans left by the teacher, and communicate clearly with school staff. Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher after each assignment. This non-exempt hourly role offers a daily pay range of $147-$174, with higher compensation for long-term placements. Candidates must hold a bachelor's or associate's degree, a teaching credential, or a 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, along with state and federal background checks. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
- Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
- State & federal background checks
- Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
- Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
