Job Summary
Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions by following lesson plans left by the returning teacher, and communicate clearly with school staff. Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher to ensure continuity. Sit, stand, and walk while safely assisting students by lifting up to 30 lbs across varied indoor and outdoor settings. Earn daily pay ranging from $150 to $268 based on assignment length and certification, with weekly paychecks via direct deposit. Receive paid training hours, professional development opportunities, and reimbursement for background checks. A dedicated consultant provides 1:1 check-ins for feedback, training, and career planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
- Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
- State & federal background checks
- TB risk assessment or test
- Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
- Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
