Job Summary
Provide an educational atmosphere where students fulfill their potential for intellectual, physical, and psychological growth by creating and implementing instructional activities that foster active engagement. Update and maintain all necessary records accurately according to laws, district policies, and school regulations. Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs. Maintain discipline in accordance with school rules and communicate regularly with students, parents, and professionals regarding progress and needs. Model professional and ethical standards while adhering to all company policies and business ethic codes. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to support boarding students and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject area
- Strong classroom management skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to create lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse student population
- Technologically savvy
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
- Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Ability to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays
- Requires a background check upon offer
- Requires a drug check upon offer
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in relevant subject area
- Former student athlete
- International education experience
- Experience working with student athletes
- NCAA, Compliance experience
- Bilingual
