Job Summary
Support multiple classrooms serving children ages 0–6 by assisting with daily routines, maintaining calm and engaging learning environments, and collaborating with school staff for smooth transitions. Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction while ensuring consistency across mixed-age groups. This on-call, as-needed position offers flexible hours for part-time or supplemental work, with training provided during orientation. Many substitutes progress to full-time Assistant Teacher roles. Required Qualifications
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Valid state background check
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor
- Passion for working with young children
