Job Summary
On-call Substitute Teacher at Guidepost Montessori to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms (ages 0–6). No formal Montessori training required; training provided during orientation. Responsibilities include stepping into classrooms to support daily routines and activities, ensuring a warm, safe, and engaging environment, collaborating with school staff for smooth transitions, and modeling patience and professionalism. Hours and days vary based on school needs, with emphasis on part-time, flexible, or supplemental work. Opportunity to become a full-time Assistant Teacher with continued growth within Guidepost Montessori. Applicants must have a negative TB test within 12 months, and a valid state background check; strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with young children are essential.
