Job Summary
Provide classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans while maintaining a safe, orderly environment and enforcing established classroom rules. Begin each class period with an appropriate prayer to foster a Christian atmosphere and cooperate with staff to promote the ministry of Catholic education. Report to school by 7:15 A.M. or when called, ensuring all necessary precautions are taken to protect students and maintain equipment. This as-needed role requires adherence to Diocese of Orlando and local school policies, including fingerprinting and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher
- Appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings
- Ability to conduct oneself in a manner consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church
- Public behavior that does not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese
- Fingerprinting
- Background check
- Diocesan Safe Environment training
