Job Summary
Deliver elementary school curriculum consistent with district goals across Adel Elementary, Meadow View Elementary, DeSoto Intermediate, Middle School, and High School as a certified substitute teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Promote a safe classroom environment conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, and support student learning. Reports to the building principal or designee at the assigned location. Requires an associate degree or 60 semester hours and a current Iowa teaching/substitute license or substitute authorization license. Daily rates are under review.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or 60 semester hours through a college or university (must provide official transcript)
- Current Iowa License (teaching license, substitute license, or substitute authorization license)
