Job Summary
Conduct substitute teaching duties by delivering age-appropriate instruction and managing classrooms with students of varying abilities in a high-paced environment. Maintain a positive, flexible, and solution-focused team-player attitude while working with both children and adults. Pass background and reference checks as required. Possess appropriate NYSED Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of age-appropriate, effective teaching methodologies
- Awareness of developmental characteristics of students of various ages and abilities
- Ability to work well in a high-paced work environment comprised of children & adults
- Positive, flexible, solution-focused team-player
- Ability to pass background and reference check
- Appropriate NYSED Certification
