Job Summary
Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education by modeling Gospel values and adhering to school policies and procedures. Follow instruction set by the classroom teacher to deliver logically sequenced objectives, provide learning resources, and use varied assessment tools for formative and summative evaluations. Practice positive, consistent discipline to manage the classroom while maintaining accurate records. Communicate with administration regarding academic, behavioral, and safety concerns. Complete Religion Certification Part 1 within two years of hire and maintain compliance with Diocese Ethics and Integrity in Ministry policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period
- Must complete Religion Certification Part 1 within two years of the date of hire, completing a minimum of 25 hours each year
- Must meet the minimum requirements for teaching field as set forth by the Diocese and TCCBED
