Job Summary
Organize and prioritize daily schedules while managing the classroom in a positive manner to keep students engaged, on task, and collaborative. Perform assigned duties as directed by a Supervisor or Administration. Maintain enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills to relate effectively with students and colleagues. Submit proof of certification if applicable, or complete a minimum of one year of college for non-certified applicants. Must be fingerprinted per NYSED Procedures. This district-wide position serves PreK-12 students and reports directly to the building principal.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about caring for and helping children
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communicator
- Capable of integrating technology resources into curriculum and instruction
- Able to maximize student effort and success both academically and socially
- Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students and colleagues
