Job Summary
Substitute Teacher position at Classical Charter Schools of Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) for part-time coverage across K-8 with responsibilities including supporting the lead teacher, assisting with classroom activities, grading papers, managing student behavior, communicating with parents, supervising during transitions and drills, and participating in required trainings. Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma is required
- An Associates degree or higher is preferred with a focus in education and early childhood development desired
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Ability to perform clerical duties
- Ability to operate common office machines
- Ability to maintain basic files and records
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitates by work assignments
- Physical ability to lift/carry 20 lbs. and dexterity to perform the duties & responsibilities of the job
