Substitute Teacher

Provide professional leadership within the school and community to improve student learning while supporting district initiatives. Plan, implement, and assess instruction designed to develop students' skills, apply core concepts, and become self-sufficient individuals. Assess student learning using tools consistent with Kentucky's Assessment Program, communicate results to parents and staff, and make referrals for extra services as necessary. Use technology to support instruction, access data, and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community. Participate in required training, school-related activities, and meetings as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent. Maintain records required by district policies and state law. Serve as a member of the ARC in determining eligibility for special education programs and assist in developing and monitoring Individual Education Plans. Adhere to all school, district, state, and federal policies and regulations.
